"Eles querem um preto com arma pra cima num clipe na favela gritando cocaína" : como Baco Exu do Blues usa da arte para falar sobre estereótipos de pessoas negras no Brasil

Abstract

O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar o álbum “Bluesman” de Baco Exu do Blues e a forma como ele usa da arte para falar sobre a saúde mental do homem negro, das suas subjetividades enquanto pessoa, como se enxergam e se colocam no mundo, sobre como se relacionam amorosamente, como se percebem como seres individuais, além de perceber como o racismo os afeta. O rap pode ser considerado uma forma do homem negro entender a sua natureza e a forma como o mundo o enxerga. Baco fala sobre ele, como pertencente desta classe, apresenta as dificuldades psicológicas de um homem preto em suas letras. O álbum faz alusão a como homens pretos se percebem como inferiores na sociedade, principalmente em um Brasil onde a escravidão foi uma realidade até 1988. Em suma, conclui-se que “Bluesman” faz uma importante contribuição para a cultura pop, trazendo o tema racismo com sensibilidade e expondo como ser vulnerável, o que representa a realidade de outros homens negros.

The objective of this work is to analyze the album “Bluesman” by Baco Exu do Blues and the way he uses art to talk about the mental health of black men, their subjectivities as a person, how they see themselves and place themselves in the world, about how they relate lovingly, how they perceive themselves as individual beings, in addition to understanding how racism affects them. Rap can be considered a way for black men to understand their nature and the way the world sees them. Baco talks about him, as belonging to this class, presents the psychological difficulties of a black man in his lyrics. The album alludes to how black men perceive themselves as inferior in society, especially in a Brazil where slavery was a reality until 1988. In short, it is concluded that “Bluesman” makes an important contribution to pop culture, bringing the theme “racism” with sensitivity and exposing how to be vulnerable, which represents the reality of other black men.
