As relações entre as práticas sustentáveis da rede de orgânicos de Osório-RS, a sociedade e a natureza

Abstract

Perante a perspectiva do tema: “As relações entre as práticas sustentáveis dos agricultores da Rede de Orgânicos de Osório, a sociedade e a natureza”, este trabalho buscou, qualitativamente, compreender como se desenvolvem as práticas sustentáveis dos agricultores da Rede de Orgânicos de Osório e suas contribuições para a sociedade e a natureza. Para responder aos objetivos específicos de forma exploratória, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica e documental sobre o município de Osório, o desenvolvimento local e os modelos de agricultura convencional e orgânica. Através do resultado das entrevistas semiestruturadas realizadas, foi possível conhecer a história da Rede de Orgânicos de Osório, seus sujeitos, perspectivas e formas de organização. E ainda, acrescentar noções sobre o histórico das propriedades e os métodos de produção de agricultura exercidos, além de responder questões sobre a comercialização, as vantagens e desvantagens do modelo, suas compreensões da agricultura que será praticada no futuro e por que permanecer na lavoura. Por fim, para entender a contribuição das práticas sustentáveis para a natureza e a sociedade em âmbito local, esta pesquisa engloba os conceitos de sustentabilidade e desenvolvimento, expondo a complexa teia de interdependência existente entre energia, emergia e sinergia, e suas conexões para os estudos da agroecologia, dos sistemas agroflorestais e das agriculturas sintrópica e regenerativa.

Given the perspective of the theme: “The relationships between the sustainable practices of the farmers of the Osório Organic Network, society and nature”, this work sought, qualitatively, to understand how the sustainable practices of the farmers of the Osório Organic Network are developed and their contributions to society and nature. In order to respond to the specific objectives in an exploratory way, a bibliographical and documentary research was carried out on the municipality of Osório, local development and models of conventional and organic agriculture. Through the result of the semi-structured interviews carried out, it was possible to learn about the history of the Osório Organic Network, its subjects, perspectives and forms of organization. Still, it adds notions about the history of the properties and the methods of agricultural production exercised, in addition to answering questions about commercialization, the advantages and disadvantages of the model, their understanding of the agriculture that will be practiced in the future and why to remain in the Agriculture. Finally, to understand the contribution of sustainable practices to nature and society at the local level, this research encompasses the concepts of sustainability and development, exposing the complex web of interdependence between energy, emergy and synergy, and their connections to studies agroecology, agroforestry systems and syntropic and regenerative agriculture.
