O turismo no espaço rural em Maquiné : um estudo etnográfico sobre a conformação da rede de atores

Abstract

A presente dissertação teve por objetivo compreender como ocorre a conformação da rede de atores do turismo no espaço rural do Município de Maquiné, no período da realização da pesquisa. Aqui, os sujeitos da pesquisa serão atores que fazem parte da rede de atuação no turismo do município, e para que fossem alcançados os resultados propositivos desta pesquisa de caráter qualitativo, foram estabelecidos os seguintes objetivos específicos: identificar e descrever os atores envolvidos no turismo do município e suas trajetórias; identificar o processo decisório de atuação na atividade turística no município e suas características; e analisar as interações entre os indivíduos na conformação da rede de atores do turismo do Município de Maquiné. Os meios utilizados para obtenção dos dados coletados foram a etnografia, através de caderno de campo, e observação participante, entrevistas semiestruturadas e fotografia. Diante dos dados obtidos, foram elencadas 12 categorias de análise, sendo oito categorias iniciais, três categorias intermediárias e uma categoria final. Como principais resultados, observa-se que, em termos gerais, já é existente uma busca do município como destino turístico. Também observou-se que já ocorreram algumas tentativas de potencializar a rede de atores do turismo, e que, no período de realização da pesquisa, uma nova ação de sensibilização estava sendo realizada. Diante do estudo proposto, nota-se a construção de uma noção de turismo por parte da rede, ligada aos valores de formas de vida e preservação do meio ambiente. A partir disso, temos o turista ideal como um produto da rede. Ressalta-se a necessidade de continuidade deste estudo para aprofundar o tema a partir das percepções da comunidade local e do turista que frequenta os atrativos do município.

The present dissertation aimed to understand how the conformation of the network of tourism actors in the rural area of the municipality of Maquiné occurs. In this case, the subjects of the research are actors that currently participate in the tourism acting network in the municipality, and so that the proposed results of this qualitative research are achieved, we have established the following specific objectives: identify and describe the actors involved in tourism in the municipality and their trajectories; identify the acting decision process in touristic activity in the municipality and their characteristics; and analyze the interactions among individuals in the conformation of the network of tourism actors in Maquiné. The means to acquire data were ethnography, via field notebook and participant observation, semi-structured interviews and photography. In face of the data acquired, twelve categories of analysis were listed, out of which eight were initial categories, three were intermediate and one was final. Pertaining to the main results, we observed that, in general, there already is some interest in the municipality as a touristic destination. We also observed that there have already been some attempts to enhance the network of tourism actors, and that currently a new awareness action is being carried out. Thus, according to the proposed study, we have noticed the construction of a tourism notion on the part of the network, linked to values regarding ways of life and environment preservation. Based on that, the ideal tourist has been conceptualized as product of the network. We highlight the need to continue this study to better explore the topic based on the perceptions of the local community and the tourists that visit the attractions of the municipality.
