"Bienal12 | Porto Alegre feminino(s): visualidades, ações e afetos" : um estudo sobre uma proposta curatorial feminista

Abstract

A partir do estudo da proposta curatorial da Bienal12 | Porto Alegre Feminino(s): Visualidades, Ações e Afetos, o qual articula cinco eixos sobre a noção de feminino(s), o presente trabalho busca, com base em pesquisa empírica e documental, compreender e problematizar a discussão proposta sob a perspectivado ativismo curatorial e do fenômeno da virada feminista no pensamento curatorialno novo milênio. Para isso, são relatados, de forma analítica e crítica, ações práticasfeministas forjadas pela curadoria durante o processo de elaboração do evento, bemcomo as hipóteses conceituais abordadas pela curadoria. São analisados, do mesmo modo, a constituição da instituição Fundação Bienal de Artes Visuais do Mercosul sob um ponto de vista de inclusão de gênero, as práticas ativistas feministas do coletivo Nosotras Proponemos, participantes da referida Bienal e o contexto de adaptação da mostra para meio digital, em função da pandemia do coronavírus em 2020.

Based on the study of the curatorial proposal of Bienal12 | Porto Alegre Feminine(s): Visualities, Actions and Affects, which articulates five axes on the notion of feminine(s), the present dissertation aims, based on empirical and documental research, to understand and problematize the proposed discussion, from the perspective of curatorial activism and the phenomenon of the feminist turn in curatorial thought in the new millennium. For this purpose, practical feminist actions forged by the curators during the process of preparing the event are reported, in an analytical and critical way, as well as the conceptual hypotheses addressed by the curators. In the same way, are still analysed: the creation of the institution Fundação Bienal de Artes Visuais do Mercosul from a gender inclusion point of view, the feminist activist practices of the collective Nosotras Proponemos, participants of the mentioned Bienal and the context of adaptation of the exhibition to digital media, due to the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.
