Protagonismo feminino no campo : uma análise sobre a sindicalização de mulheres e suas atuações na FETAG-RS

Abstract

Este trabalho de pesquisa tem por objetivo analisar o movimento de mulheres trabalhadoras rurais, a partir da sindicalização e quais são os resultados da organização para o protagonismo feminino e politização, apresentando ainda, as pautas de luta, os desafios e anseios. Fundamenta-se na literatura sobre novos movimentos sociais, a pauta feminista do século XIX e XX, sindicalismo no Brasil e o sindicalismo rural para então, tecer sobre a historiografia e a trajetória e a atuação das mulheres na Federação dos Trabalhadores na Agricultura no Rio Grande do Sul – FETAG-RS. A escolha metodológica foi por uma análise integrada mobilizada a partir de pesquisa empírica com entrevistas semiestruturadas, dados historiográficos e organizativos e observação participante da autora. Problematizando a construção do sujeito coletivo e analisar a participação das mulheres na FETAG-RS. Ademais, inquieta conhecer o perfil das mulheres que participam da FETAG-RS, verificando aspectos da participação e da representatividade política das mulheres na federação e na sociedade. E, a partir da estruturação, identificar a que têm se pautado as trabalhadoras rurais, quais são suas bandeiras de luta e se há algum ponto de encontro para a concretização desses anseios. Ao mesmo tempo, expomos como a FETAG-RS contribui para garantir a participação das mulheres no movimento sindical, de forma a incentivar o protagonismo. Observou-se, aspectos relevantes sobre a participação das mulheres na FETAG-RS, a atuação das mulheres está muito presente na federação, no entanto, quando medimos cargos de liderança como presidentes e coordenadoras regionais, o número se restringe significativamente, a tal ponto verificamos a existência de preconceito e descriminação quanto a participação das mulheres no movimento sindical. E também, o perfil das participantes é misto no que diz respeito a idade, tempo de sindicalização e participação, mas há percentual expressivo de mulheres com 55 anos ou mais, e associadas ao sindicato há mais de 20 anos, todavia, uma nova faixa etária vem ganhando expressão. Contatou-se, a partir do perfil das participantes que em sua maioria possuem independência financeira através de outra fonte de renda além da produção agrícola familiar, o que impacta positivamente para o protagonismo e empoderamento. No que diz respeito a participação, apuramos que parte das participantes já desempenhavam papel de protagonista e liderança em outros espaços, sendo ampliadas após a militância, e as que não, foram despertadas na militância sindical para o exercício da representação, e atualmente estão presentes em outros setores da sociedade, sendo uma consequência das formações oportunizadas pela FETAG-RS. Outrossim, o protagonismo da mulher no campo não é resultado, mas uma ferramenta que busca a inserção das mulheres em outros espaços afim de amenizar diferenças de gênero e consequentemente ter-se paridade.

This research work aims to highlight and analyze the movement of rural women workers, from unionization and what are the results of the organization for the realization of empowerment, politicization and struggles of gender and category, also presenting the challenges and desires faced by the women participating in this study. We started with the bibliographic foundation on rural unionism, followed by historiography as a way to elucidate the important events for the construction of the rural union movement and then base the trajectory and performance of women in the Federation of Agricultural Workers in Rio Grande do Sul – FETAG-RS. Through interviews, field research and participatory observation, we seek to problematize the construction of the collective subject and analyze what are the difficulties and challenges for the full participation of women, based on the narratives of regional coordinators and female leaders of the rural union movement. In addition, it is important to weave about the representativeness and political participation and/or politicization of women for instances beyond the rural union movement and for this we also appropriated the identification of the profiles that make up the State Commission of Women and how and in which spaces these representatives leaderships have been acting. That said, we were concerned to present, from the participants' point of view, the objective of organizing rural women workers, pointing to the role of the State Commission of Women. Based on this structuration, we seek to identify what rural women workers have been guided by, what their struggle flags are and if there is any meeting point for the fulfillment these desires. At the same time, we expose how FETAG-RS contributes to guarantee the participation of women in the union movement, considering that the construction of the movement took place with a male character. The realization of this research work provides an opportunity to recognize the performance and contribution of women in the construction of the rural union movement, and also a reflection on how, over the years, women have had to seek the right to participate, not in a struggle for gender, but rather by the category of rural worker. And finally, instigate and envisage that the work carried out by women in organized civil society is recognized, breaking with paradigms regarding gender.
