A comunicação em coletivos de mulheres: organização, mobilização e formação feminista

Abstract

Essa pesquisa tem como tema as dinâmicas comunicacionais em coletivos de mulheres situados em Porto Alegre (RS) e especificamente ligados às questões de violência, raça e natureza. A problemática envolve a relevância da comunicação na formação e funcionamento desses coletivos, atravessados por questões de gênero. O objetivo geral da pesquisa é identificar as regularidades e distinções da comunicação em coletivos, bem como suas especificidades decorrentes de se tratar de iniciativas protagonizadas por mulheres. Para compreender os temas abordados, a discussão teórica apresenta reflexões sobre movimentos sociais e organizações da sociedade civil e coletivos; percorre teorias sobre comunicação, perpassando enfoques acerca da comunicação organizacional e da comunicação comunitária; por fim, traz perspectivas acerca de gênero, dos feminismos e de especificidades na relação entre as mulheres violência, raça e natureza. A pesquisa desenha-se como qualitativa e serve-se de recursos documentais, utilizando-se de pesquisa bibliográfica, em pesquisas antecedentes, e análise documental em notícias e produtos midiáticos veiculados pelos três coletivos estudados. Emprega também recursos observacionais, utilizando-se da observação participante de três coletivos (Casa de Referência da Mulher Mulheres Mirabal, o Coletivo Nimba e o Coletivo Ecofeminista Pandora) e de entrevistas semiabertas presenciais e/ou online realizadas com nove mulheres que atuam na comunicação desses coletivos. Os resultados apontam para um número expressivo de iniciativas protagonizadas por mulheres em Porto Alegre, identificando os fluxos comunicacionais que partem dos e nos coletivos, em seus sentidos e possibilidades. Podemos concluir, a partir dos processos comunicacionais, que a comunicação nos coletivos se consolida em processos de: a) divulgação das ações e frentes de atuação; b) mobilização em prol de suas causas; c) promoção da formação feminista, tendo como fundo a criação de vínculos. Nos coletivos de mulheres, a comunicação contribui para a garantia da cidadania e, também, para uma reconfiguração da nossa História e para a construção de outros futuros possíveis.

The subject of this research is the communication dynamics in women's collectives, located in Porto Alegre (RS) and specifically related to issues of violence, race and nature. The central problem under study involves the relevance of communication in the formation and functioning of these collectives, which are crossed by gender issues. The general objective of the research is to identify on the regularities and variety of the communication process in these collectives, as well as on the specificities resulting from the fact that they are women's initiatives. To understand the topics addressed, a theoretical reflection on social movements and civil and collective organizations is presented. Furthermore, this reflection goes through theories about communication, putting emphasis on the approaches in relation to organizational communication and community communication. Finally, it brings perspectives on gender, feminisms and specificities regarding the relationship between violence against women, race and nature. The research is designed as qualitative and explore documentary resources, using bibliographic research and documentary analysis in previous research. It also employs observational resources, using participant observation and semi-open face-to-face and/or online interviews, conducted with nine members of the three collectives studied: the Mirabal Women's Reference House, the Nimba Collective and the Pandora Ecofeminist Collective. The results point to an expressive number of initiatives led by women in Porto Alegre, identifying the communication flows that start from and in the collectives, in their senses and possibilities. We can conclude from the analysis that communication in collectives is consolidated in processes of: a) dissemination of activities and fronts of action; b) mobilization for their causes; c) promotion of feminist education, having at the background the creation of social ties. In women's collectives, communication contributes to the guarantee of citizenship and also to a reconfiguration of our history, and to the construction of other possible futures.
