Mistura fina : uma possibilidade de arte mestiça

Abstract

Dividida em três capítulos, a presente dissertação se propõe a ser uma reflexão sobre o processo criativo em artes plásticas, a partir do testemunho do criador. É apresentada a trajetória artística, como base da produção atual, tendo como fio condutor a Memória Afetiva e a questão da Mestiçagem Cultural, a tentativa de Sincretismo entre ícones da Cultura Popular, da Cultura de Massa e da Cultura Erudita. Os procedimentos plásticos - a Agregação, a Repetição e o Fragmento - também são destacados através das obras executadas durante o Mestrado, conceitualizando-os a partir de suportes teóricos e demonstrando como se apresentam.

Divided in three chapters, the present dissertation is intended to be a reflexion on the creative process in plastic arts from the standpoint of the creator. The artistic path is shown as groundwork for the present production, which has as its leading aspects the Emocional Memory, the issue of Cultural Miscigenation, the atempt of Syncretism among icons of the Popular Culture, Mass Culture and Erudite Culture. The plastic procedures - Aggregation, Repetition and Fragment - are also emphasized througt the works executed during the Masters Course. The three procedures are theoricaly conceptualized and their visual evidence demonstrated.
