Possíveis caminhos para emancipação feminina negra em Porto Alegre/Brasil

Abstract

Diferentes ações feministas, projetos sociais e de pesquisa são coordenados por mulheres negras. Porém, há um processo histórico que as limita, desconsidera e praticamente inviabiliza ações feitas e lideradas por elas no país. Dentro deste contexto, esta dissertação teve como objetivo: entender o percurso das mulheres negras em busca de emancipação e de combate ao preconceito racial. Os procedimentos metodológicos contaram com uma pesquisa qualitativa, desenvolvida através de entrevistas desenvolvidas com mulheres que atuam como lideranças femininas negras indicadas através do método da Bola de Neve. Como instrumentos, foram utilizados o roteiro de entrevista semiestruturado e os diários de campo da pesquisadora. A análise dos dados se deu através da teoria fundamentada em dados (TFD). Todos os protocolos éticos foram seguidos e a pesquisa foi aprovada no sistema CEP/CONEP. Para fins de descrição dos resultados obtidos, as participantes foram identificadas com os nomes de históricas lideranças negras brasileiras. Resultados: Seis mulheres negras, lideranças e referências em suas áreas de atuação, entre 25 e 45 anos foram entrevistadas. Foram identificadas as seguintes categorias: A) O não lugar de uma menina negra; B) Vantagens de articulação com o movimento negro; C) Estratégias que levam ao protagonismo negro; D) Mensagens para uma menina negra. Observa-se que embora cada mulher mantenha sua singularidade, todas referem suas lutas e o quanto não foi fácil chegar onde chegaram, ademais, observou-se a importância das famílias e do movimento negro no fortalecimento e na ressignificação da negritude. Contudo, este estudo fez-se maior e necessário ao ser capaz de transformar as concepções e o mundo das próprias pesquisadoras. Logo, observa-se o quanto o protagonismo da mulher negra mexe com as estruturas da sociedade, mas, por outro lado, o quanto a implicação da sociedade inteira (e não apenas das mulheres negras) ainda se faz necessário para que estas mulheres possam ser regras e não exceções. A maior riqueza deste estudo está em sua aplicabilidade como ferramenta desde a denúncia do quanto estas mulheres tiveram que lutar e contar com a luta de outras que vieram antes, até como inspiração para toda e qualquer pessoa que se reconheça como antirracista.

Black women coordinate different feminist actions, social projects, and research projects. However, there is a historical process that limits, disregards, and practically makes unfeasible actions carried out and led by them in the country. Within this context, this dissertation had as its objective: to understand the path of black women in search of emancipation and of combat against racial prejudice. The methodological procedures relied on qualitative research, developed through interviews with women who act as black female leaders indicated through the Snowball method. As instruments, the semistructured interview script and the researcher's field diaries were used. Data analysis was done using data-based theory (TFD). All ethical protocols were followed and the research was approved in the CEP/CONEP system. For describing the results obtained, the participants were identified with the names of historic black Brazilian leaders. Results: Six black women, leaders and references in their respective fields, between 25 and 45 years old, were interviewed. The following categories were identified: A) The non-place of a black girl; B) Advantages of articulation with the black movement; C) Strategies that lead to black protagonism; D) Messages for a black girl. It is observed that although each woman maintains her uniqueness, all refer to their struggles and how not easy it was to get where they are, moreover, it was observed the importance of families and the black movement in the strengthening and re-signification of blackness. However, this study became bigger and necessary by being able to transform the conceptions and the world of the researchers themselves. Therefore, it is observed how much the protagonism of black women shakes the structures of society, but, on the other hand, how much the implication of the whole society (and not only of black women) is still necessary for these women to become rules and not exceptions. The greatest wealth of this study lies in its applicability as a tool, from denouncing how much these women had to struggle and count on the struggle of others who came before, to being an inspiration for any and all people who recognize themselves as anti-racist.
