A crueldade semiótica a partir de Antonin Artaud e do experimentalismo do filme {Transmissão}

Abstract

O artigo pretende discutir a crueldade de Antonin Artaud a partir de um viés comunicacional, recuperando suas problemáticas sobre o signo, a linguagem e o corpo para encontrar meios de analisar o filme {TRANSMISSÃO} (2020), de Luiz Päetow. Percorremos o teatro da crueldade enquanto uma proposta a ser expandida e cuja força encontra atualizações e expansões em distintas mídias e na contemporaneidade. Ao configurarmos uma crueldade semiótica artaudiana, observamos no filme a produção de corpos que não visam representar e significar, mas que irrompem sensações por sua materialidade crua. Na primeira cena, analisamos uma relação estritamente violenta a partir da câmera que invade a boca do ator mostrando um avesso do órgão. Já na segunda cena, vemos como a linguagem é operada pela dissociação entre a materialidade da fala e o significado das palavras.

The article intends to discuss Antonin Artaud's cruelty from a communicational perspective, recovering his problems about the sign, the language, and the body to find ways to analyze the film {TRANSMISSÃO} (2020), directed by Luiz Päetow. We discuss the theater of cruelty as a proposal to be expanded and whose strength finds updates and expansions in different media. By configuring an Artaudian semiotic cruelty, we observe in the film the production of bodies that do not aim to represent and signify, but that erupt sensations due to their raw materiality. In the first scene, we analyze a strictly violent relationship from the camera that invades the actor's mouth, showing it's inside out. In the second scene, we analyze how language is operated by the dissociation between the materiality of speech and the meaning of words.
