A enfermagem no enfrentamento a pandemia por covid-19 : uma revisão integrativa

Abstract

Introdução: a pandemia por Covi-19 tem sido uma problemática latente em função de sua alta transmissibilidade e repercussão clínica. A Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS) mostra-se como um nível de atenção potencialmente capaz de auxiliar na identificação de novos casos, tratamento, reabilitação e redução de danos na pandemia. O enfermeiro, em seu papel central na Atenção Primária, possui novos desafios gerenciais e assistências para lidar durante a pandemia e exercer sua profissão. Objetivo: identificar como a Enfermagem vem enfrentando a pandemia por Covid-19 no âmbito da Atenção Primária à Saúde. Método: trata-se de uma Revisão Integrativa (RI) baseada na metodologia proposta por Cooper (1982). A revisão organizou-se através das seguintes etapas: identificação do tema, elaboração da questão norteadora, estabelecimento dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão, categorização dos estudos, análise dos estudos que foram incluídos, interpretação dos resultados obtidos e a síntese do conhecimento sobre as dificuldades que a pandemia apresenta para o enfermeiro na APS. Como questão norteadora que motivou a presente revisão foi: Como a Enfermagem tem enfrentado a pandemia por Covid-19 no âmbito na Atenção Primária à Saúde? Como critérios de inclusão utilizou-se os artigos nacionais e internacionais de pesquisas que foram publicados entre os anos de 2019 e 2021, nas bases Portal de Periódicos da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES), na Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), Literatura Internacional em Ciências da Saúde (MEDLINE), SCIELO e na Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS) em janeiro de 2021. Considerações finais: foram encontrados 80 estudos nas bases de dados, e destes, 8 estudos inclusos na amostra da revisão. Na análise e interpretação realizada, os artigos foram categorizados em: Processo de trabalho durante a pandemia; Fatores de risco para os profissionais enfermeiros. Conclusão: comprovou-se na presente revisão, que o enfermeiro tem enfrentado novos desafios assistenciais atrelados ao processo de trabalho, bem como gerenciais, relacionados a minimização do risco de trabalho, estrutura física inadequada e desvalorização profissional.

Introduction: the Covid-19 pandemic has been a latent problem due to its high transmissibility and clinical repercussion. PHC (Primary Health Care) is shown as a level of care potentially capable of assisting in the identification of new cases, treatment, rehabilitation and harm reduction in the pandemic. Nurses, in their central role in Primary Care, have new management challenges and assistance to deal with during the pandemic and exercise their profession. Objective: to identify in the literature what difficulties professional nurses face during the COVID-19 pandemic in the context of Primary Health Care. Method: this is an Integrative Review (IR) based on the methodology proposed by Cooper (1982). The review was organized through the following steps: identification of the theme, elaboration of the guiding question, establishment of the inclusion and exclusion criteria, categorization of the studies, analysis of the studies that were included, interpretation of the results obtained and the synthesis of knowledge about the difficulties that the pandemic presents to nurses in PHC. As a guiding question that motivated the present review was: What are the difficulties that the nursing professional during the pandemic by COVID-19 in PHC has faced? As inclusion criteria, national and international research articles that were published between the years 2019 and 2021 were used, in the bases of the Portal of Periodicals of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), in the Virtual Health Library (VHL), International Literature in Health Sciences (MEDLINE), SCIELO and in Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS) in January 2021. Results: 80 studies were found in the databases, and of these, 8 studies included in the review sample. In the analysis and interpretation performed, the articles were categorized into: Work process during the pandemic; Risk factors for professional nurses. Final considerations: it was proved in this review, that nurses have faced new care challenges linked to the work process, as well as managerial, related to minimizing the risk of work, inadequate physical structure and professional devaluation.
