Pretty but creepy : embrenhamentos de uma jovem atriz pela delicadeza e tesão pelo universo gore

Abstract

Este trabalho visa compreender os efeitos da experimentação da atriz em cenas de Horror gore. Bem como refletir acerca do interesse por cenas de violência e repulsa. Para isso, é necessário classificar o Horror enquanto gênero artístico, especialmente o subgênero gore, e suas vertentes: torture porn, rape and revenge e new french extremity, além de fazer o reconhecimento do gênero no cinema, na literatura, na performance e no teatro. Refletir sobre a real necessidade do gore em algumas obras selecionadas (Mártires, Salò ou 120 Dias de Sodoma, V.H.S. - Verdadeiras Histórias de Sangue) e entender a crítica que elas carregam. A partir disso, compreender as aplicações das características do Horror no meu papel enquanto atriz no curta-metragem Retaliação, trabalho realizado para meu Estágio de Atuação em Teatro.

This study aims to comprehend the effects of the actress's experimentation in Horrorgore scenes, as well as to reflect about the interest in violence and and repulsive scenes. For that, it is necessary to classify Horror as an artistic genre, especially the gore subgenre and its ramifications: Torture porn, Rape and Revenge e New French Extremity, as well as BUILDING the acknowledgment of the genre in motion pictures, literature, performance and theatre and to ponder about the real necessity of gore in a few selected works (Martyrs, Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom,V.H.S – Verdadeiras Histórias de Sangue) perceiving the criticism that they carry. From that, the study aims to comprehend the applications of the horror genre characteristics in my role as an actress in the short movie "RETALIAÇÃO", produced for my final theatre acting assignment.
