Mediação de leitura e violência doméstica: mulheres, suas histórias e a transmissão cultural como instrumento de recuperação da autoestima

Abstract

A partir criação e a vigência da Lei Maria da Penha instituíram-se, nacionalmente, os Juizados da Violência Doméstica e toda a estrutura de atendimento às vítimas de violência doméstica, embora as Delegacias da Mulher tenham nascido anteriormente, e então, os processos relativos à violência doméstica tratados nos Juizados Especiais Criminais. O 1º Juizado da Vara de Violência Doméstica de Porto Alegre iniciou seu trabalho pioneiro com a criação dos grupos reflexivos de gênero, contando com uma equipe multidisciplinar (psicólogos e assistentes sociais) para acolhimento dos envolvidos nos casos de violência doméstica. Diante do crescente aumento de medidas protetivas e, considerando que a leitura exerce um importante papel no desenvolvimento humano, este trabalho visa observar os efeitos da leitura por meio da contação de histórias e a mediação de leitura realizadas no grupo de acolhimento do Projeto Borboleta. Busca, também, evidenciar que o bibliotecário e a função social da Biblioteconomia são importantes ferramentas de trabalho conjunto com a rede de atendimento às vítimas de violência. Destaca-se a importância da leitura e do bibliotecário mediador como agentes de transformação social. Apresenta no cenário do estudo, dentre os personagens partícipes, a participação da pesquisadora, voluntária há dois anos, tendo sua participação contando histórias para o grupo. A natureza da pesquisa desenvolvida é básica, não havendo pretensão em desenvolver uma aplicação prática imediata, será qualitativa, pois tem a finalidade de trabalhar com a subjetividade de cada participante. Trata-se, portanto, de Estudo de Caso, resultante da observação participante. Apresenta as vivências no formado de relatos, e as considerações a partir do que se observou ao longo dos dois anos em que a pesquisadora acompanhou as atividades realizadas nas tardes do encontro de acolhimento

From the creation and the effectiveness of the Maria da Penha Law, the Courts of Domestic Violence were instituted nationwide, and the entire structure of assistance to victims of domestic violence, although the Women's Police Stations were born previously, and then the processes related to the domestic violence treated in the Special Criminal Courts. The 1st Court of the Court of Domestic Violence in Porto Alegre started its pioneering work with the creation of reflective gender groups, with a multidisciplinary team (psychologists and social workers) to welcome those involved in cases of domestic violence. In view of the growing increase in protective measures, and, considering that reading is the most important role in human development, this work aims to observe the effects of reading through storytelling and the mediation of reading performed in the host group of the Projeto Borboleta. It also seeks to show that the librarian and the social function of Librarianship are important tools for working together with the service network for victims of violence. The importance of reading and the mediating librarian as agents of social transformation is highlighted. In the study scenario, among the participating characters, the researcher, who has been a volunteer for two years, is part of the project, having her participation telling stories to the group. The nature of the research developed is basic, with no intention of developing an immediate practical application, it will be qualitative, since it aims to work with the subjectivity of each participant. It is, therefore, a Case Study, resulting from participant observation. The experiences in the form of reports will be presented, and at the end considerations from what was observed over the two years in which the researcher followed the activities carried out in the afternoons of the welcoming meeting.
