Variedades e benefícios das sementes crioulas cultivadas pelas guardiãs no município de Mampituba, RS

Abstract

A presente pesquisa buscou identificar e catalogar, através dos conhecimentos populares das guardiãs, as diferentes variedades e benefícios alimentícios e medicinais das sementes crioulas no município de Mampituba/RS e, assim contribuir com informações junto ao banco de sementes existente na Emater/RS-Ascar municipal. A pesquisa realizada foi de cunho quali-quantitativo onde foram desenvolvidas pesquisas de campo coletando dados e informações junto às guardiãs das sementes crioulas do município. Para uma melhor obtenção de resultados na realização da pesquisa foram feitas entrevistas com as guardiãs, desta forma foi possível ampliar o campo investigatório e obtermos melhores resultados. Foram também aplicados questionários para dois técnicos do escritório municipal da Emater/RS-Ascar, pois são os responsáveis pela assistência técnica e pelo banco de sementes municipal. Após a coleta de dados da pesquisa, constatamos que as três guardiãs de sementes crioulas do município cultivam 202 variedades de sementes entre elas alimentícias e medicinais.

The following work had as a main trust to investigate and to catalog the many types of seeds typically for the Mampituba County- RS and, through the knowledge accumulate by the Seeds Guardians, to further learn about the benefits of the seeds and the plants with medical properties and to be able to add a valuable information to the EMATER_RS Data Bank located in the town of Mampituba. The research was conducted with qualitative and quantitative methods and with the field investigation, collecting data and information with the Seeds Guardians of the County. To further improve the results of the research, extensive conversation with the Seeds Guardians were conducted, making it possible to extend the investigatory field and therefore to maximize the results. Also a questionnaire was presented to the Emater office being answered by two employees, responsible for the technical assistance to the local farmers and also for the Seeds Data Bank of the County. After an extensive data collection it was made clear the existence and importance of three women, the Seeds Guardians, caring for 202 types of seeds, both with nutritional and medical value.
